The International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) is the first and only world-wide group dedicated to the scientific study of intellectual disability.
Founded in 1964 as the International Association for the Scientific Study of Mental Deficiency, IASSIDD is an international, interdisciplinary and scientific non-governmental organization which promotes worldwide research and exchange of information on intellectual disabilities.

The theme of IASSIDDAsia-Pacific Congress2025 is "Person-Centricity as an Approach to the Well-being of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities." The Congress will focus on what it means for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PWIDDs) to be at the heart of their care and well-being.

IASSIDD Asia-Pacific Congress 2025 will bring together practitioners, researchers, educators, care providers, students and supporters to engage in discussions on how person-centred approaches can be applied effectively in policies, services, programmes, practice, and research to support PWIDDs.

You can register by visiting the registration page on our website and completing the online form. Make sure to select the dates and sessions you would like to attend.

Yes, you may. However, your accompanying guest(s) will need a paid ticket to access the Congress. PWIDDs with paid ticket joining the Congress may bring one accompanying guest at no additional cost.

The rate shown is for single occupancy. However, the second person charge is in the rate description. If the booking is done for double occupancy, the reservations team will manually change the rate to 255++ in the backend.
